avoid long standing
while sitting lower back should be well supported with cushion
when doing work while sitting on a chair do make use of foot rest
do back isometrics- lie down straight, keep a towel roll under your lower back, press it & hold for 3 sec then relax, 10 repetitions twice daily

By throat cancer we usually mean mean laryngeal, or pharyngeal cancers. The options depend upon the stage of the cancer. If early stage T1 or T2 vocal cord disease, you may be offered either laser excision or radiation. The voice quality is almost similar with both, but may be poorer with laser especially if the anterior commisure is involved. Also, laser may be repeated, but radiation cannot.
