Treatment for strabismus may include eyeglasses, prisms, vision therapy, or eye muscle surgery. If detected and treated early, strabismus can often be corrected with excellent results. People with strabismus have several treatment options to improve eye alignment and coordination.

You can wear glasses or contact lenses after lasik, and if your vision is continuing to change as your refractive error returns or changes, you may find you need them again.

Retinal holes and tears do not automatically cause severe vision problems; instead, the areas of the retina that have holes and tears will not function correctly. If the condition is not well managed or treated in due time, then significant vision loss or even blindness can occur.

No drug is proven to be successful in central serous retinopathy. It is most commonly an idiopathic disease or steroid induced condition. So trigger factor needs not be removed.

Sadly, night blindness isn't always treatable, depending on the underlying issue that is causing it. If your night blindness is a result of vitamin a deficiency, that can be easily rectified by changing your diet.

My father was operated for a brain tumor around 25 years back and from the past few years he is getting some eye tests done in every 3 months as advised by the doctors and every time some black spots in the tests are increasing. Consulted many top eye doctors and everyone says its glaucoma and it has no treatment so keep using the prescribed eye drops it will just slow down but can't be cured completely. Few months back one not very famous doctor diagnosed the real cause. He said it's not glaucoma as the eye pressure isn't increasing. If it has been a glaucoma then the eye pressure would have increased. He advised that these black spots are due to the side effects of the radiations of the numerous ct scans done pre and post operation of the brain tumor. When we asked for the comments on this from our regular eye doctor he said this theory is not correct and to be prove it wrong he kept my father under observation for one whole night to monitor the eye pressure and he was surprised that the eye pressure remained stable for the whole night but he had no answer to this. Now my request is if anyone can help me for any good medicine to control this side effect of the radiation or any good doctor who can treat this as my father is loosing his eye sight day by day due to this and now finding it very difficult to see clearly even after the spectacles. His age is 73.

Dear Lybrate user, to stop the progress of your father's condition, you can try individualised homoeopathic treatment as a possible option to improve the quality of life he enjoys. Looking at his age, keeping patience during the treatment will be of importance.

Experts continue to reiterate that the only way to remove glasses is surgical, but also add that the eye exercises, if done under supervision, are not harmful to eye health. It is therefore up to the individual to try them out, with a healthy dose of skepticism, to see if they work.
