If you are already diagnosed with carotid disease. You need to be on regular follow up with your doctor .need to be regularly investigated like lipid profile, CT angiogram, MRA, etc. Medications like antiplatelet, antihypertensive ,cholesterol lowering etc are prescribed. Surgery is advised in severe cases or to prevent future complications.
