A liver transplant surgery involves surgically substituting a problematic liver with a healthy liver from a different person. Usually, the healthy liver is taken from a person who has recently passed away. In some cases, a living person may also give away part of the liver. Usually, living donors are members of the family or someone who has a good blood type match. The liver regenerates lost tissues after a surgery; hence, the donor s liver becomes normal within a few weeks of surgery.

Gastric Plication Surgery is a more or less new, minimally invasive bariatric surgery, which ensures the reduction in the size of the stomach by getting it folded. Thus the organ s volume gets decreased by nearly 75%, thereby leading to the patient feeling as if his or her stomach has become full after eating a meal and hence naturally resulting in quite a significant loss of weight. As the anatomy of the digestive system in this case does not get altered, this whole procedure is reversible.

Again the cost of laser is high.
If it is associated with abscess as mentioned by you. Laser surgery is not indicated as there is no tract available for ablation.
