The doctor who has been treating you seems to have done a very good job. Based on what you say, it seems like psychosis induced by Cannabis and persisting even after you have stopped cannabis. So, if you go back to cannabis again the old symptoms have high chances of recurrence. Regarding your inability to pursue job, after training. It needs to be addressed by psychosocial rehabilitation. Discuss with your psychiatrist about your aims, your mental capacity in pursuing job, etc. All the best.

The age at which she had the breakdown is not surprising: late adolescence is normally the period when most people have these breakdowns and are indicative of childhood influences and genetic factors. This is the last time that she will get to resolve the issue and if it is not treated now it can lead to a permanent condition into adulthood. These symptoms must be reported to the doctor so that he can review the dosage or the medication. At her age, this disease can be quite crippling and diffic...more

I am (girl- age 28) did MBA worked in IT company, married to Mr. Venkat (age - 39 or 40) Mtech just 9 months back (Nov 27 2015, residing in hyderabad. My husband (Venkat) is suffering from Psychosis since 2 years but I came to know after marriage as I was not aware of it. He uses "Arpit 10 mg" and "dyskinil" even now. I just wanted to know his health condition. He left office 2 years back and rejoined office after confirmation from his physician that he is normal. But I don't feel he is normal because he screams at night sometimes in a different voice pointing out his finger in some other direction. There is misunderstanding between us, he is always suspicious, negativeness, anxiety, mismatch words while talking, stubbornness, very childish (acting wanted to show others that he is innocent but not really he is ), not involved with family members, not thinking about family life, uncleanliness, chain smoker, untruthfulness, fear not bothered about anything like health etc, and looses his temper frequently which is really affecting our married life. Sir, these are not my intention but it's happening lively. I would like to know Is this abnormal behaviour or inborn from childhood ? There is lot of disturbance, upset in our sexual relationship as he could not fulfils his desire as he takes out his anger in another manner. Because of above reason I took him to urologist (from Apollo hospital) suggested tablets - " Tazzle 10 Mg "and "Nano leo" After using above medication I got conceived now I'm 5th month pregnant, he stopped using "tazzle and nano leo" for one month in my absence. After I came back from my mother's house finished my 3rd month pregnant he ordered " L- Arginine " without doctor consultation used for two days for testing purpose, it was ok for a while later no result. He seems to be normal but his behaviour differs sometimes, infact he has mental pressure from his family members as he is taking care of them financially (no job for his younger brothers, his sister got married who has 4 years kid but divorced) and his old parents. I am desperately looking for a solution, I'm afraid will my married life continues normally ? I will be happy if my husband becomes normal.

Your husband seems to be suffering from schizophrenia, you need to confirm the same from his psychiatrist. They have cheated you by hiding, from what you say. You must have reported this to your parents and got off the marriage in the 1st instance, since you faced the hurdles and living entire life with someone suffering from schizophrenia is a challenge. Since, you have decided to live with him and now even have a child, you have to take care of his mental health. When he visits his psychiatris...more

Dear Doctor, I'm feeling fear psychosis for everything. I fear to take bath, I fear to drive my car, I'm not able to take lunch/dinner alone because of unknown fear. I am not able to sleep because of unknown fear having no reason, thinking that what would happen if I sleep. I feel a strange kind of fear if I stay alone. Sweating comes out abnormally. Sometimes, I feel very depressed. I'm not able to concentrate anything. Moreover, I do something, need immediate result. I loose my control to wait for the result. About 1.5 years back I was having acute pain all over my lower limbs. I had undergone with various tests & medicines but nothing cured me. Alternatively, having no alternative, gone for electro-homeopathic treatment. I was cured. I'm a diabetic & taking glypride-1000 mg regularly after dinner. Please suggest to overcome from this phobia.
