His gf again started talking for 1-2 days and then blocked him telling she has other bf, he was a very bright student but now he is struggling to pass. Again he has started fearing, and feels everyone wants to harm him, has started hating me, he just keep on saying i'll complete my chapters but he's not able to study even if he's trying. His marks in test has deteriorated from 660 to 190. He even don't know what has happened to him. We give medicine in food. Should we tell him what has happened to him because is not ready to go to doc. Is the medicine right or should we go and see somewhere else? Please help me.

Yes, he needs to know what his problem is. The medication seems to be suitable but it needs to work in the long run. If it is not having a desirable effect, then either consult the same doctor or go to another to review the medication or dosage. He has a serious condition and must accompany medication with psychotherapy. This will take a long time and expect many relapses if he does not cooperate. for cooperation, he must know what his problem is and his involvement in his recovery is very impor...more

Hello,
It seems that the diagnosis of schizophrenia has been confirmed and she has placed on medication. there is an urgent need for her to continue the medication and schizophrenia needs to be controlled. IVF can be carried out at the same time. But remember that medication for schizophrenia is must for her. there is no definite proof as yet that resperidone can harm the fetus and it shouyld be used as the benefit to the mother outweighs the risk to fetus

First, we need to be sure of diagnosis before commenting on medications. But, at the outset. Does'nt make sense giving antipsychotics and antidepressants considering the doses in which they have been prescribed.

In fact this is a standout feature of schizophrenia and can ideally be resolved in therapy. Anyway, you must always combine medication with therapy for the best results. The counseling gives you an avenue to work with your emotional issues and you will develop skills in coping with the everyday challenges that life throws at you. You need to be occupied, and fit into a routine of interesting activities every day. Yoga and meditation is also necessary to train your brain to be disciplined and rem...more

Sizodon does cause weight gain but the benifits of taking medications far outweighs the risks of not taking them. So, don't discontinue medications as long as doctor don't say so. You will have to cut down on your food intake and also start exercising regularly.
