Hello doctor, for my adenomyosis problem, my doctor suggest me to use ovral l for 3 weeks. I am in lactation (9 months old baby). But my doctor said, I can use this ovral l during lactation. Can I use this tablets, in internet it's written as should not use during lactation. Please please give me clarity.

Sir, uterus is enlarged in size. A hypoechoic sol (3.814.26 cm) is seen in myometrium. Cervix appear clearly. Endometrium not clearly delineated. Uterus =6.499.79*5.13 cm. This hypoechoic sol was 1 cm before 7 months ago. Can you tell me surgery is needed or not? And is it dangerous?

2) if fibroid need of surgery depends on complaints.
3) examining gynecologist can have full picture in front of him/her to suggest.

I am 44. Diagnosed with adenomyosis. But since january 24 I had full flow of my period. Since then there are spots of blood on the pad but nit a full flow. When I wipe with the tissue there is dark red blood on it and it is more than what comes on the pad. What is causing this?

I guess the histology report on the removed thyroid nodule is benign. In that case the small nodule in the left lobe seen on ultrasound needs only annual follow-up. About 20 % of these nodules may disappear, 20 % remain the same for many years and the remainder show very slow increase in size. Continue your present dose of eltroxine and get annual tsh and ultrasound imaging of the thyroid done and keep us informed

I have already taken tablets (hormonal medicines) they reduced my bleeding but when I stop them after 3 months course the same problem arises. Doctor advised mirena iud. But after searching so many side effects of it I am worried. What should be done?

there are two options for adenomyosis treatment ,if family complete you can go for hysterectomy.if you want to conserve your uterus then go for mirena insertion.
for initial 2-3 months afyer mirena insertion you may have intermenstrual spotting and cramps .but after that periods will get regularized and BLEEDING will reduce significantly
