24 years old man having prostate hyperplasia. Psa test is normal urine culture: few pus cells, occasional gram positive cocci in clusters, pairs and occasional gram negative bacilli were seen three months before urine culture says: klebsiella pneumonia (given above is one month before test) he's having burning sensation and sharp pain during palpate bladder when it's full for 10 months. But no fever and no any other symptoms.

Hello – i’m 34 yo and i’m suffering from a frequent urination specially at night that I have to wake up several times to use the rest room since I drink lots of water during my evening workouts. I had a doubt that my prostate may have enlarged, but my neurologist determined that the size of my prostate was normal considering my age. He also looked into my bladder with his bladder scope and found no signs of any infection or tumor or anything. My psa test came back normal, my urine test came back just fine. My bloodwork shows that my sugar level is normal and I am no diabetic or pre-diabetic. I started feeling over a month and a half ago which has not really helped, he put me on anti-biotic (bactrim) which helped a little but not a big deal. I have been taking mirabegron for a week now and I still wake up 3-5 times at night specially on my workout days. I wonder what the problem could still be if everything is normal and that no medication is really getting this of my system. My neurologist says this could be related to my level of stress and that I think about it a lot so it’s not going away. Could that really be the issue? Any advise will be highly appreciated!

its happen due to mental stress and unable to relax sleep or deep sleep. i want to say you its somthing run frequently inside our mind which disturb our concentatration. if you feel like this, search how can you solve . your problem will solve autometically

I am 45 years old male, recently I got to know that I have grade 1 prostatomegaly. I don't have any issue while urinating. I masturbate regularly. Is this, one of the reasons for prostatomegaly. Got to know that the prostatomegaly mostly starts after 50, any reason why, this is happening to me at 45 years only what are the chances of this turning into cancer.

My father (77 years) has almost all symptoms of enlarged prostate - bph. He goes to urinate approx 1 hour frequency in night, but he feel relax in day time. He took ayurveda medicines (chandraprabha vati, gokhshuru etc), but no results. Someone told me about finasteride-5 mg. Can he tak this medicine? If he can take this medicine then how long it may take to see results? And will it require to take lifelong?

I am 60 years old, male having enlarged prostate of 52 gm. I have been taking capsule silotime d (1 daily) and tablets urotone 25 mg (3 per day). Just 10 days before in usg it shows prostate appears in normal size & pvru is 150 cc. & doctor gave prostagard d8 tab & now in todays usg kub it shows that prostate is enlarged in size, normal in echotexture. No evidence of any focal lesion is seen. Grade I prostatomegaly (23gms), prevoid vol 150 ml, post void vol 41 ml. Is it treatable via medication or surgery is the only option. Age is 57 & just 75 days ago gallbladder perforated with open surgery. & this problem started just 30 days ago when got cavity positive & they treated with rantac. And also gallbladder wound is not filled completely due to this.

get USG PVR done. if PVR is not significant, then you can continue to take the current medication. you can take it for long time, till you start experiencing symptoms even with medication. all the best
