Your reading is no substitute for doctors' knowledge and experience.
Stop reading and get biopsy done as advised by your urologist.
Raised psa is a dangerous sign. Don't ignore it. It could be cancer.
Luckily, prostate cancer is a curable disease if detected in time.

At your age also proper treatment is needed, importantly you need to be diagnosed if you have any problem. Treatment on time would improve quality of your future life, so I would recommend you get the biopsy done.
Take care.

Hello.
I'm sorry to hear about your father's condition. Prostrate enlargement is seen in elderly males, and its symptoms are often gruesome if not kept in check. Dear sir, flu is common cold, presenting as running nose, cough, sneezing, watery discharge from eyes, fever, muscle pain, weakness etc.
Prostatic cancer in early stages can either be operated or receive radiation therapy. We usually do risk stratification using psa, gleasons score, staging and life expectancy and then offer treatment suitable to the patient.

Hello,
if there is any fracture, it should be stabilised first, if possible. Radiotherapy is usually given to the metastatic bones. I need to see the bone scan report so that I can exactly prescribe the treatment.

Prostatitis treatments vary depending on the underlying cause. They can include:
Antibiotics. This is the most commonly prescribed treatment for prostatitis. Your doctor will base the choice of medication on the type of bacteria that may be causing your infection. If you have severe symptoms, you may need intravenous (IV) antibiotics.
