Since L4 L5 disc prolapse is involved you are likely to have radiating pain in the calf and foot.
Treatment depends on the severity of the prolapse,whether there is any nerve compression and whether there is any neurological involvement.
If you symptoms are acute and recent,take complete bed rest , keep a pillow below the affected side knee ,use a medium.hard bed,and take anti inflammatory tablets and muscle relaxant a prescribed by your doctor.
