I am suffering with irregular periods. And the size of my right ovary is 21.8 cc as well as left ovary is 14. 7 cc.and the report confirmed that I have bilateral polycystic ovaries. What does it mean. Is it harmful or does it cause infertility problem. When should I worry?

I took I pill two times a week. After that I got my periods. Also tested negative for pregnancy but my next period is delayed by 8 days. Did I pill cause infertility? Or some severe problem in my ovary? Or any chances of pregnancy? Please help.
