Hi, oral vitamin c is a good antioxidant. You can take it. If serums and creams haven't helped in the past, see a local dermatologist for proper assessment of the brown patch. It can be sun induced or post inflammatory, or just a normal brown patch. Treatment will depend on the cause. Kojic cream at night for 1 month and sunscreen during the day can be tried.

Hi lybrate-user,
depiwhite contains hydroquinone which is a potent skin lightening agent. However, when used for long periods of time it may cause abnormal pigmentation of skin, a condition called as exogenous ochronosis. If you have pigmentation problems for which your doctor might have prescribed you depiwhite, its a good idea to only use it for the recommended duration and switch to non hydroquinone containing skin lightening cream for maintenance therapy.
Hope this helps.

Finding a black spot or dot on the inside of your cheek can be alarming, but it's not necessarily a sign of something serious. A variety of harmless conditions can cause discoloration in your mouth, such as moles, hyperpigmentation, and leakage from your dental fillings.

Apply mineral sunscreen after moisturizer (if you're going to wear chemical sunscreen, make sure to put sunscreen on before moisturizer) in general, you want to use separate sunscreen and moisturizing products. Wear sunscreen with spf 30 or higher over your moisturizer for adequate sun protection.
