If you had consulted gynecologist or genetic specialist prior to marriage or if not but after marriage or at first pregnancy they must have explained to you that it is genetic combination and there is 25 % chance of thalasaemia major, 50 % chance of thalasaemia minor and 25 % chance of absolute normal.
But don; t calculate chances by just your pregnancy number. Percentage is generalised.
