During incomplete miscarriage, all your tissues won't come out. At this stage, treatment becomes necesary to stop bleeding and prevent infection. D&c aka dilation and curettage is the most common procedure which involves widening your cervix and scraping the uterine lining. General anesthesia is involved to put you to sleep during the process.
