presbyopia can occur in addition to having farsightedness, nearsightedness or astigmatism. In presbyopia, your eyes gradually lose the ability to adjust to see up-close objects clearly. You may also experience blurred distance vision when changing your focus from near to far objects.

Once this excessive eye growth has commenced, we can attempt to slow it down with myopia control treatments but we can't stop the eyes from growing or reverse the excessive growth. This means there is no cure for myopia – only ways to correct the blurry far away vision which comes with it.

Hello. You can use certain glasses which are available in the market for people with prolonged screen time. (they block certain harmful wavelengths of light reaching your retina)
other than that- 1. Keep blinking frequently 2. Take 4-6 mins rest after every 30 mins of continuous work 3. Use good quality lubricating eye drops (0.5 % cmc) routinely 4 times a day hope this helps.

A few eye conditions can cause night blindness, including: nearsightedness, or blurred vision when looking at faraway objects. Cataracts, or clouding of the eye's lens. Retinitis pigmentosa, which occurs when dark pigment collects in your retina and creates tunnel vision.

Hello. Yes you can go for laser surgery there are various laser surgeries for the correction of eye sight like prk, lasik, smile and this contura vision. Contura is the most advanced procedure of all. It accurately maps the smallest dimension of your cornea for altering its shape for vision correction. In layman terms, it is a customised version of laser surgery.

Hello. An eye can have both spherical and cylinder power. Cylinder power, even if very low, is known to cause more asthenopic symptoms than the spherical one. The choice of wearing glasses depends on the type of work you do, the hours of close work you do, the symptoms you have without glasses and of course the vision without glasses, known as unaided vision (ucva=uncorrected visual acuity). 6/6 is your bcva (best corrected visual acuity). You can reach me out anytime to discuss your case in a m...more

Blurry vision is very common. A problem with any of the components of your eye, such as the cornea, retina, or optic nerve, can cause sudden blurred vision. Slowly progressive blurred vision is usually caused by long-term medical conditions. Sudden blurring is most often caused by a single event.

Nothing you are doing is going to make your eyes worse. The old wives tale of sitting too close to the t.v. Will make your vision worse, or now too much time on your phone or lap top simply isn't true. Your prescription for myopia isn't going to change due to any viewing habits. But that being said it can cause eye strain. Best to follow what's called the 20/20 rule. For every 20 minutes spent looking at a screen. Take a 2o second break to focus on something about 20 feet away. That will reduce ...more
