Food pipe / esophagus is a long tube that carries food swallowed to stomach for digestion, swallowing harpic this foodpipe is burnt chemically and has become scarred reducing the lumen size and causing difficulty swallowing, it takes months to heal and might need a feeding jejunostomy (tube in intestine for feeding) till his food pipe recovers. Need reports of endoscopy to assess severity and time for recovery.
