I have some wheezing going on. I have coughed up some blood, not too much. But I am wanting to know if it is pneumonia. I had a probable cause of legionnaires disease 3 years ago. Was hospitalized for it for a week. So i'm kind if freaking out that it may be pneumonia. What do you think?

Do some blood test
do a pulmonary function test.
It may due to soreness in the throat or infection in the lung.

Hello, I'm 22 years old. Lately, I had a urine pain and went to see the doctor, he gave me a urine test to do and an anti-biotic to drink after that I did the test. The pain is almost completely gone but the results say that I have klebsiella pneumonia. Fyi, I have done the test before this last time and got the same results. I would like to know if this bacteria is a red flag or is it probably normal. Thank you so much.

My father, age 82 years, has low heart rate due to bradycardia now admitted in hospital. He is having pneumonia in the lungs also. He is now being given isoline injections for increasing heart rate. Simultaneously he is being given 12 orcibest tablet per day (6 times). Also, he is being given antibiotic for pneumonia. Is it possible to continue with orcibest tablet only stopping isoline injections because for injections he has to continue in the hospital. Or any other medication will be suitable for the ailment. Please advise.

Yes, you can give antibiotic for pneumonia. It is possible to continue with orcibest tablet only stopping isoline injections because for injections he has to continue in the hospital.

Hi, I wants to know about my father problem which is related to high bleeding in cough. Last year in December my father was admitted in hospital for 22 days due to pneumonia. Doctor use to gave him high dosage of medicine. Then after some days he reduce a bottle of fluid with the help of needle .my father was taking medicine for the next 2-3 month, but there was no relief for him. When papa use to cough or split blood comes out. After that bronchoscopy was done .then he start taking homeopathic medicine due to excess secretion of blood in cough. your situation seems your wife might be suffering from some lung ailment and not getting relieved with steroids. You did not mention any other drugs she is taking and whats the investigations done to her to confirm the disease. Immediately consult a general physician or pulmonologist so that the infection if at all present will not spread too much. Get well soon.

Hello. I'm 18 year old female. I had pneumonia 4 years ago and since then I have problems with phlegm. Whenever I go to the doctor, she tells me that it's a virus or a flu and she gives me some pills, such as amoxicillin or cefalexin. At the moment, they help me, but the problem is coming back. This makes me very bothered, sometimes I think i'm going to choke. No other symptoms. What can I do?

Your symptoms might be due to damage caused to your lungs during that pneumonia. It's called bronchiectasis. U need a evaluation by a chest specialist who can guide you better. Pneumococcal and swine flu vaccines should be given to you. Meet some chest specialist.

3 weeks sick. Full course amox. This week worse. Treated for pneumonia 3 days ago at ER. With z pack and inhaler. Getting worse. Audible lung sounds (wheeze, squeak) coughing until I pee my pants about every 30 minutes. No sleep for 3 weeks. Worse now. Spend all my time in bath tub to get relief. What do I do? Should it be improving?

It is not clear whether you have been treated fully with antibiotics
You also need to get fully Investigated to rule out TB infection or any other disease
It is unusual for a 28 years old to get pneumonia without an underlying cause
and also for your age and height and gender your weight is very less
Please show a chest specialist and get fully investigated.
