Stuffed-up sinuses or a sinus infection may cause postnasal drip, especially when lying down. Postnasal drip tickles the back of your throat and leads to coughing. If nighttime coughing is caused by a medical condition such as a sinus infection, it's important to get treatment.

Dear lybrate-user ji
for pneumonia, pl do not panic. Just follow antibiotic therapy, oxygen therapy, watch out for over hydration, take diabetes medicine regularly. If he is at home, pl see to it that the o2 level should not fall. Check the saturation and maintain at 95% saturation. If it falls below, rush to the nearest hospital if you get a chance.
My best wishes to you and your family. May your dad get well.

Hello Ms. lybrate-user
good morning!
a normal x ray would suffice to know about the condition of lungs.
If you develop breathing difficulty then a ct or mri would be required.
You may take all necessary precautions for covid and keep your hydration and nutrition proper.
Take vitc and zinc tablet and remain stress free.
You would be just fine.
