I am afraid ,but have to say that pilonidal sinus needs definitive surgery and expertise to get cured. Antibiotics like augmentin may help temporarily to control the infection and give relief to some extent. However I strongly recommend you to visit a surgeon nearby and get it handled properly. Surgery for sinusitis is a relatively safe one. Please follow the instructions of operating surgeon. You may have difficulty in breathing from nose temporarily. Since you have allergy problem also, you may have to take certain medication for a long time.

First & foremost get a ct scan of the sinuses to find out which of the sinuses are involved.
Secondly a nasal endoscopic examination is needed to know whether you have a deviated nasal septum or an enlarged inferior turbinates on account of which the sinus openings get blocked which in turn leads to sinusitis.
A running nose could be because of an allergic reaction.
An ent opinion is advised.
