first get the fissures and fistula corrected surgically..its a very minor operation ...
avoid constipation as the constipation is major factor for aggravating it..
Increase intake of fiber, especially fruits and cooked vegetables.
An Apple or Pineapple/Pomegranate each day is helpful. 
Drink 7-8 glasses of lukewarm water each day.
Take daily morning and evening walks for at least 20-30 minutes each.
Eat whole grains /nuts/sprouts and Muesli in breakfast

Fistula in ano presents with boil (like pimples as you described) with discharging pus intermittently. Generally it appears after abscess formation and its generally outside and around anus. Fissure is having severe burning pain and at the edge of anus. Both these diseases are very different from each other and requires different type of treatment approach. Sitting in hot water benefits in swelling and pain associated with anal fistula. So definitely it is good to take hot water tub bath in anal fistula. But it is not going to heal your fistula.
