I was suffering from chronic fissure from long time. After 3 months I am cured from chronic fissure. But there was anal tag. Initially the size was large, but day by day it reduced in size. But it has not gone inside anus. Small portion is there. Surgeon told me it is anal tag and you will require surgery for that. He also told there is small ano cutaneous fistula pus. I went to another surgeon specialist, where he inspected my anus using proctoscopy. He told there is no fistula the skin tag is pile. That is causing you pain and itching. Then I asked him whether fissure is there. He told I don't see any fissure. Fissure heals on its own by managing proper lifestyle. But he told that the area inside anus may be filled with fibrosis. He also told to do laser surgery for piles. I am worried that during surgery do they remove fibrosis also along with piles, b coz if fibrosis is not handled I will be facing difficulty in bowel movements there can be chance of getting pile again. please help.

Hi if pain in Anal region is not because of piles or fissure and it has been confirmed by the surgeon ,then I think you should consult a neurophysician ,who would examine you in detail and would like to find cause of your pain which is also radiating to your knees and legs .they might do a pelvic MRI to further confirm the diagnosis.

I am sorry to hear about your concern but will be happy to assist you.
Spots of red blood on the toilet paper, drops in the toilet bowl or blood on the surface of your stool indicate a problem in the anus and lower rectum. However, if the blood is mixed in with your stool, this suggests bleeding might be from higher up in the bowel.
Let's connect over a call so that we can discuss your concern in details and make a suitable treatment plan for you.

You need to revisit the surgeon once again.
For ease of stool take fibers in your diet and your food should be of easily digestible form only.
