Kojic acid is safe to apply on skin (areas like face etc) during lactation. A concentration of 2-4% is generally prescribed for pigmentary disorders like melasma, post inflammatory hyperpigmentation etc.

Hi, sun exposure can lead to immediate pigment darkening which disappears soon and delayed pigmentation which may last for many weeks. It seems like you have tanning. Please use sunscreen 15 min before sun exposure and reapply every 2 hours when out in sun. Always use extra sun protection measures like hats, scarf, umbrella etc when out in sun for long. Stopping melaglow does not give tanning, sun exposure does.

Hi, please stop this combination cream. Use sunscreen like sunban or photostable every 2 hours when out in sun. You can prefer milder creams with niacinamide or vitamin c or kojic to apply at night for a few weeks. For specific recommendations, please send pictures to me or consult a local dermatologist.
