Hello-
Yes there is, in ayurveda. An acute case of phimosis may create problems for the person when he would want to pass urine or to perform sex, as this action may either be restricted or become troublesome. This is when phimosis becomes a medical emergency. It has been linked with an increased risk of infection, loss of sexual stimulation of the penis and even penis cancer.

What is phimosis?

Phimosis is the name of the condition wherein the foreskin of the human penis cannot be pulled back from the head of the penis. The foreskin should be capable of being readily pulled back in most boys over 10 years of age when they have had no circumcision. In some cases, it is delayed to about 17 years of age.

Phimosis is not usually a problem unless it causes symptoms such as redness, soreness or swelling. If your child's glans is sore and inflamed, they may have balanitis (inflammation of the head of the penis). There may also be a thick discharge underneath the foreskin.
You may apply steroid cream for few days and try to retract the penis if the condition is not severe this will respond to the treatment.
otherwise surgery is the option

Dear Lybrate user. The problem of phimosis can be treated with circumcision. You should not go for sexual intercourse or masturbation for at least 15 days after the treatment. Take care.
