Recently had a dental surgery 2 days back. Couldn't eat normal food. I'm feeling too weak. It starts feeling uneasy after eating anything. Loss of appetite too. What should I do? Should I take any supplements? If yes, which one?

Hello im 25 years old and I was born with an aortic stenosis (coarctation of the aorta), in 2015 I got surgery for it as you see they put a bypass right under my left subclavic artery that is trying to bypass the 2 mm stenotic zone. If you look closer you can see that the bypass got a stenosis on its own now, this id why I have tinnitus. Now the doctor said that he wil try to enlarge that 2 mm stenosis with a stent and close that bypass, as a result I wil lose the revascularization to my left arm, but that is not a problem as long as my t wil disappear, my fear is that the stenosis ca rupture as is realy thic, and I want to ask you guys, mby is a doctor in this group and sees this, what do you think, wil I die from an aggressive internal bleeding in the middle of the procedure, or will I live te hear what silicea sounds like ?

Hello, covid response varies from person to person and as it is a novel virus it response is highly unpredictable. But all said in post bypass heart surgery patient after 31/2 years, if otherwise was doing well with no other health conditions with normal heart function should have recovery and survival same as any other individual of same age. Hello sir. There is swelling around a empty socket in right upper jaw. Only root of molar is left (because of rct which was done around 6-7 years ago) that is why I said empty socket. I consulted a dentist in my town and he gave me some antibiotics for 5 days then after eating these medicines the swelling got reduced and vanished. After completing 5 days medicines I visited his clinic and he said that if the swelling comes again then we have to extract that root which is a little bit difficult. This swelling is very random .in a single day at morning there is no swelling and at evening there is swelling. And sometimes there is pain in my right ear. So what should I do?

Dear Lybrate user, the swelling in area and pain in ear may be sign of infection in those remaining pieces of broken tooth. As your doctor says it is better to extract that remaining tooth peices. Or else pain and swelling will keep coming back.
