Hi dear! yes dear you can take it, dey are like supplements only don't expect them to cure u. Your remedy is in your hands. Wt loss and strict diet are the only proved possible remedy. Metformin I normally prescribe only if pt desires urgent cycle control/ pregnancy otherwise I do not use them for prolonged periods.
