Hello. Can I ask you a question? I had a tooth extracted 2 days ago. The doctor said that you should not drink such drinks as beer, wine, champagne. But what about carbonated sparkling water? Thank you!

Yes you can drink carbonated water but directly from bottle or glass n not straw as it may dislodge healing clot n may lead to bleeding socket or delayed healing.

hii Rachelle....can you share some pics of that teeth which is going for extraction...with the gums region and face region... sometimes swelling comes due to increased infection or tissue response..and sometimes due to allergic reaction...share the pic so it will be easier to guide you better

Hello I got braces since last one year. My dentist started the retaliation, so he attached some clear thread/or strings to the bottom of brackets on both upper and lower teeth. But below these string I have got my gums cut its nt paining though. How to heal the cut? I do not knw how I got them. Also those retaliating things have turned yellow because of turmeric in food items. How to clean them? I dnt really know what they are called but my dentist wrote retaliation in my ortho treatment history. Please help!

Hey there, these elastic bands/ chains can hurt and as you can not clean teeth properly so the gums are affected, so maintain a good oral hygiene. Use a mouth wash as directed. These can not be cleaned by self so do not worry of yellowing of the chains. They are to be changed by dentist only.
