Pearly penile papules are sometimes mistakenly thought to be signs of a sexually transmitted disease or of poor hygiene. The condition does not appear to have any outside source. It is not the result of an infection or other underlying cause. The bumps are not malignant or premalignant.

Pearly penile papules. This is not a STD. This has nothing to do with sexual activity or personal hygiene. There is no reason why these bumps form. They are harmless. Only treatment is Carbondioxide laser ablation.

Hello-
Castor oil is a good remedy for PPP. For that you will have to purchase a bottle of castor oil and some cotton swabs. Wash the affected area effectively and pat it dry, then use a cotton swab to use the substance on the papules. Use loads of castor oil, more than the amount you'd normally use.

In many cases ppp are life long.in some cases they may disappear on their own. With age.

Hello-
No. 1 in 5 men will be affected by pearly penile papules (PPP) during their lifetime. Whilst this condition can be stressful and embarrassing, one saving grace is that this is not a sexually transmitted disease and, whilst being unsightly, will not cause you any further health implications.
