In abdominal scan all organs of abdomen are scanned like liver kidneys uterus ovaries gall bladder
In pelvic scan only utreus ovaries and adnexa are scanned.

Erosion by itself is not a problem.

You seem to be having a retroverted uterus and finding cervix should not be a problem with delicate manoeuvring.
