I am suffering from cannabis induced psychosis from 8 years. See I am really stressed and depressed in my life. I hear voices which bully me, I see people talking about me and all things. I am educated about symptoms but not getting a treatment. Please I need treatment. Will anyone help. Escitalopram, venlafaxine, fluoxetine, paroxetine, sertraline, oleanz plus, lurasid. All done on me. I gave every medicine enough time. I mean to every medicine a year. And every single medicine I mentioned gave me panic attacks, heavy eyes, heavy head. Please understand me I blindly followed every psychiatrist I visited but what will I do when the medicine gives me relaxation for 1 week, than headache starts, after that heavy head and sometimes panic attack. After that my doctor says its due to anxiety, I still take it, than a worst panic attack comes. Than I take etizolam, than paroxetine starts than the same thing repeats after sometime. From last 5 years, I am in a circle of my health. Crying.

These are all psychotic symptoms and need not only medication but also intense psychotherapy. If you have not tried therapy, you are likely to get worse and suffer unnecessary disturbances. So now you need not follow therapy blindly because you will be taught tools, skills, and techniques to help you deal with the psychosis. This is a difficult path but it is clearly the best way to sort out your problems effectively. There is no doubt that this disease is debilitating but you must persevere not...more

There specific methods to deal with conversion disorder. The role of family is very important. I hope the psychiatrist has explained how you people need to respond. The medicines will reduce the emotional component associated with the disorder. Finally it is addressing the conflicts and resolving the same. The child rather than speaking with clinical psychologist needs to be assessed by projective tests to find the areas of conflict and address the same. Good luck.

Panic ke liye therapy lena better hoga. Safe hain aur side effects bhi nahi hai. Root cause address ho jata hai aur kaafi sari naye coping strategies, problem solving aur emotion processing skills seekhne mil jata hai. Phir aap medicines bhi band kar payenge.

From the information you've provided, it seems you have a history of fatty liver and lipid (cholesterol) issues. It's positive to hear that you've made lifestyle changes such as abstaining from alcohol, cigarettes, and tobacco use, as well as incorporating exercise and a healthy diet into your routine.
It's important to manage your cholesterol levels to reduce the risk of heart issues. Statins are commonly prescribed to lower cholesterol levels, and it seems you've been taking them in differ...more

Anxiety has all to do with fear and his inability (or so he would tend to think) to handle the same. Fear is based on looking too much into the future and imagining things that usually do not tend to happen (usually 90% of your fears will not happen). He needs to change his perception of the fearful stimulus then he can change his response to the fear. The first one is the best and will preempt the need for the second. If he is already far gone into the reaction mode, then he needs both response...more

Dear lybrate-user,
If you have not got any side effect with serta 50 mg for one and half years, you are unlikely to get any in future. There is no fixed duration of treatment for panic attack. It depends on the diagnosis, improvement, side effect, other psychosocial factors. Discuss with your psychiatrist.
