A properly managed papillary carcinamo thyroid patient can live a life on par with any normal individual. He/she will require a thyroid harmone supplementation every day morning. May require a calcium supplementation if his/her parathyroids were not conserved.

Sorry to know about your father. My guess from your information might be GallBladder Cancer spreading to Liver and Lungs than the other way. Kindly discuss the case with a Radiation or Medical Oncologist for further guidance.

lybrate-user ji, Thanks for the query. Usually hypothyroidism seen during pregnancy goes away after delivery. Therefore if TSH is normal after few weeks of pregnancy then there is no need to take thyroxine tablets. TSH should be with in the specified range. Thanks.

You can take those things but avoid hot, spicy,stale and hard food stuff. Better avoid fruits with thin outer peel. Contact your treating Oncologist for guidance from time to time.
