Place a heating pad or hot water bottle on your lower back or abdomen.
Rest when needed.
Give yourself a little massage where it hurts.
Exercise - get moving to relieve symptoms. Walking, running, yoga etc. Women who exercise regularly often have less menstrual pain. To help prevent cramps, make exercise a part of your weekly routine.

There is no harm in taking lantac 150. For pain ask her to use a hot water bag on stomach and back. Even then if the pain does not subside then she can go for painkillers. If this is a recurrent feature every month then ask her to contact me. There are some vitamins also which help to keep the period symptoms under control thus avoiding the need for frequent painkillers or antacids.
