An eardrum rupture is a small hole or tear in your eardrum, or tympanic membrane. Ear infections, pressure changes, and injury are common causes of eardrum ruptures. A ruptured eardrum often heals without any invasive treatment but if its not healing other treatment options are used which includes 1) Patching-it involves placing a medicated paper patch over the tear in the membrane. Hi lybrate-user, I am not sure if I have understood your question correctly, but if you are facing numbness of face due to ear infection, it is normal. The nerves of the face sometime get affected due to ear infection leading to tingling or numbness sensation. Please meet a ENT (Ear, Nose, throat specialist). They will examine your ear and give your appropriate antibiotics for the same. Once the infection goes down, this numbness will also reduce. Hope this helps. Thanks.

Hi lybrate-user, No the blockage will not come back. But, I would strongly recommend that you take proper care of your ear and take all medications as prescribed by the doctor. Keeping a good hygiene is very important in any kind of ear infection.

Charges are same as conventional ear surgery, only I charge Rs35000 extra towards LASER charges and LASER consumables.
The advantages are that hospital stay is greatly reduced and that substantially reduced your final bill.

It is not normal to fall unconscious soon after removal of earwax. Also, unless there is some indication, we do not need to remove earwax manually as body does it on its own, You need to to take Homoeopathic medicine Arnica 200 to remove ill effects of damage due to this procedure.

It may be because of tinnitus.
If not, you need to consult an ENT surgeon for that, so that your ear can be examined and treated that what exactly needs to be done.
Take care. :)

Hi
You are suffering from chronic suppurative otitis media with perforation ,this condition can aptly treated by surgery and hence it is by far the best modality of treatment.
Medicines will just halt it for some time but with cough and cold it will come back.
So I would suggest go for surgery
Regards.
