Hello, may be you are talking about the wisdom tooth which does not have enough space to erupt so it remain inside the gums. The destiny of that tooth will be predicted only after seeing the position of the tooth in a x-ray. So kindly get the xray done based on which if required it will be removed. Thanks.

An iopa x-ray will help a dentist to recognize the problem from a particular teeth & a full mouth x ray will help a dentist to recognize the problem from the bone & the jaw. if color is the issue
if it's ceramic veneering you should have told before cementation, if it's composite then give some time to hydrate.

if you don't like the shape
then some adjustments can be done in ceramic one and full adjustments can be done in composite.

You may need deep cleaning along with surgical curettage or gum strengthening procedure. Use pepsodent tooth paste & gum paint for 2 to 3 weeks. Advance procedures can be done with laser. You may consult me in person.
