1) ideally to use family planning method to avoid pregnancy instead of post sex emergency medicines.
2) most of emergency contraceptives need to be taken within 72 hours of sex- earlier better.
3) you have not given details about which, dose etc.
4) after taking the high hormonal emergency pill one gets withdrawal bleeding 5 to 10 days later, and then a new cycle starts.- new counting.
