What you say mucus in chest may be throaty sounds/ sounds from blocked noses. If there is really mucus in chest you must give treatment.

If you missed your period for more than 7 days then you should get your urine tested for pregnany with home kit. Two lines is positive and even faint second line is positive. You have to read the report within 5 min of putting urine. If test comes negative then keep repeating it every week till you get your menses.
