My skin is oily nd I have dark spots of pimple and small pimple also can I use melaglow cream.
Hello hope you are doing well 1) oily skin is more prone to acne breakouts as compared to other skin types due to an increased sebum production that clogs the pores leading to break outs. So inorder to maintain a healthy skin, you need to balance out sebum on your face. 2) for post acne marks, there are many skin lightening agents such as kojic acid / glycolic acid / acelaic acid that can be used long term with a good safety profile. These ointments should be applied only at night because it makes skin more photosensitive and also daytime application of sunscreen of spf not less than 50 is mandatory. You can use melaglow, as it contains few natural lightening agents, though the above mentioned ingredients would be better any skin hyperpigmentation would take about 4-6 months to revert back, so please do not panic. 3) also follow these simple measures- - do not pick on your acne as it lead to scarring which could be deep and permanent -do touch your face with unclean hands - do not scrub you face -avoid cosmetic products unless the present flare-up subsides -apply a sunscreen with spf not less than 50 - relax yourself, and make yourself stress free ,as stress is a big contributing factor. -avoid oily food, junk food, dairy products ,egg yolk, fatty and too spicy foods. 4) also take care and be aware about few of the reasons that causes these acne lesions - high consumption of dairy products - cola, caffienated drinks, aerated drinks, high sugary foods - high humidity - over application of moisturizers and creams clogging the pores - excessive sebum secretion inherently. - picking/ squeezing acne, abrasive washing or frequent scrubbing for acne specific treatment kindly send a photo of the lesions so that I can guide you according to the severity. Hope your query is cleared thank you stay safe.

To prevent pimples, eat fresh fruits, green vegetables, drinking plenty of water should be an essential part of your routine and intake of oily fried foods, an excess of sugar-salt should be avoided. Don't peal pimples, as they tend to leave scars. Stop using soap on face. Instead take a spoon of milk, add a pinch of turmeric (haldi). Mix n apply on face with the help of cotton. Leave for a few minutes then wash off. It’s a good cleanser. If skin is dry then apply moisturizer like coconut oil. For swollen pimples, gently apply ice for a minute or so. Just don't keep the ice on so long that it irritates your skin. Tea tree oil can kill bacteria. Some people use it to treat minor skin irritations, including acne. There isn't much research on how effective it is, but tea tree oil is safe to put directly on your skin in a diluted form. Try it on a small area first to make sure you don't have an allergic reaction. Simple honey mask--before applying this mask, rinse your face with warm water to open up pores. Then apply honey and leave it on the skin for 30 minutes. Rinse the honey off with warm water; then rinse again with cold water to close the pores. Yeast and yogurt mask for oily skin--oily skin is prone to acne, and this home remedy can reduce excess oil and help clear acne. To make the mask, combine 1 teaspoon of brewer's yeast with a little plain yogurt to create a thin mixture. Apply it thoroughly to all the oily areas and leave on for 15 to 20 minutes. Rinse with warm water; then use cold water to close the pores.Homeopathy is a very effective for this problem n has very encouraging results. For more details consult online.

1. Wash face regularly --washing regularly can reduce the amount of oil on the skin. Wash with a gentle soap and warm water 2. Use a toner--astringent toners that contain alcohol tend to dry out the skin. U should test out any new toner on a small patch of skin to avoid potential irritation. 3. Pat the face dry--when drying the face after washing and using toner, people should gently pat their skin dry with a soft towel. This should be done with care, however. Pulling down on the skin with a towel, or using a rough washcloth, is not advised, as it may stimulate the skin to create more sebum. 4. Use blotting papers-- blotting papers will not treat the sebum production in the skin, but they can be used to lift excess oil off the skin throughout the day to make it appear less shiny. 5. You can apply aloe vera juice/gel from its leaf (fresh), not from ready made gels available in market. Remove skin of an aloe vera leaf. Take /scoop out gel. Apply this gel to your skin. Wash with plain water after an hour. Also stay hydrated, avoid greasy foods and trans fats, and to eat a well-rounded diet full of whole foods.
