OGTT [Oral Glucose Tolerance Test] Health Feed

Asked for Male, 32 years old from Bangalore

A few months back we thought I had hypoglycemia. Symptoms being: Headaches, eye pain, mood changes mostly pending on food, shaky with out food, chronic fatigue etc. We recently got a kit to test blood sugar levels and they are usually between 125 and 145, once it was 163. Would this be considered" impaired glucose tolerance" more close to diabetes or is this normal range? (19 years old, female, 125 pounds) I have no health insurance at this time and am looking for advice. I have a few health things going on. Others being on my period 3 weeks a month, off one week a month. I've never been one to be tired but lately I need more sleep. Mood swings. I do have to eat something every hour or everything gets worse (Shaky, head ache, mood swings, depressed, tired, weak, behind my eyes hurt, dizzy, most symptoms of hypoglycemia) Any ideas, help? Advice?

This causes weakness and lack of energy levels. Food is our source of energy an...more

Hi Lybrate user, One has to prepare himself and determined to one thing in life whether it is treatment or small concerns. As per the pain ,nowdays local anaesthetic sprays r applied before injection so that the small prick can't be felt. After treatment pain is controlled through meditation. Thanks.

I will suggest you to get a legal stress test done as we want to rule out any blockages in the heart because you are able to do it only for 7 'minutes with heart rate of more than 100.

Hello lybrate-user.
You should take blood test first t3, t4, tsh.
And then consult for proper homoeopathic treatment.
It will not be solved by random and blind prescription.

It is unusual to have these symptoms at this age. As they are all symptoms of diabetes. But without proper investigation it is not wise to reach to any decisions.
Best is to take a proper investigations. Like CBC
Blood sugar fasting and PP
Urine Routine and Microscopic]
Renal Function test.
Etc.
Once we have all these results I will be able to guide further.
