It is due to too much high sodium foods and drink less water. I agree with the water drinking to solve the problem and less amount of salt.

Get your thyroid profile, cbc, lft, kft, blood sugar fasting checked from some lab.
In the meanwhile follow this 1. Don't take tea empty stomach.
