Never take any pills for weight loss. In long time thy will give you many side-effects. When you stop taking them you will again gain your weight and your health get down. Do weight loss by proper diet and exercises. Add fiber in your diet. Drink lots of water. Add millet and green vegetables in your diet. These drugs can lead to insomnia, increased blood pressure, fast heart rate, restlessness, drug dependence, abuse, and withdrawal symptoms etc. So pl don't take all these pills.

Hi I am a 21 years old 1st year mbbs student. I am moderately to morbidly obese and I am loosing weight by portion control and by regular treadmill run. Past 2 days I have a dull pain (not intolerable, but some time felt a little too high) in left iliac fossa region. At first I thought due to abdominal pain due to gas etcc.(i have gas trouble sometimes and it might get to chronic some times. Also I might have lactose intolerance, and lately for past few days I had been drinking strong milked tea). But I am worried because this is the first time the pain is radiating to the left inner thigh, and left lateral scrotum. This pains irritates the left testicle. (again its not localised only to left testis. But also to groin and left lower abdomen, and pain in testis is felt separately ). I had tested cremasteric reflex and the result is positive on both side of scrotum. (even though left side is not as fast and intense contraction as on right). I am really afraid of loosing my left testis. My right testis is smaller than left side and left side one is only the size of an average testis. I am confused whether this pain is due to weakened or damaged muscle in groin (as I was running on treadmill twice a day for few days) or due to problem of testis. As I told I am a moderate obese person, as well I have small amount of gynecomastia. These all really concerning me about my fertility in future. I am not even sure that my right testis is that much working compared to the size of left, and now I am more frightened that will my left testis too undergoes dystrophy.

I am 30 years old married woman. I am 72-74 kg (obesity) as height is 5.6' and I badly want to reduce my weight and tummy. I never checked for pcod or related to it as I have regular periods with cycle of 25 to 30 days. But during my periods I have bad stomach pain, have to go to washroom frequently, sometimes vomiting, back and legs pain too .doctors told me that it's quite normal and gave 1 month of vitamin tablet and meftal spas. After a month of taking medicines there's no change in my pain .so on every month I have to take at least 3-4 meftal spas to reduce my pain. We are not even planning for parenthood. Please guide me.

Follow this 1. Don't take tea empty stomach. Eat something like a banana (if you are not diabetic) or any seasonal fruit or soaked almonds and a glass of water first thing in the morning (within 10 mins of waking up). No only biscuits or rusk will not do. 2. Don't overeat 3. Take your breakfast every day. Don't skip it. U should eat whatever your mother or grandparent eat in bfast. I mean to say whatever is your traditional food. If punjabi eat paratha, if belongs to south then take idli/ dosa etc. 4. Have light meals every 2 hours (in addition to your breakfast, lunch n dinner) e.g. Nariyal paani, chaach, a handful of dry fruits, a handful of peanuts, any fresh n seasonal fruit, a cup of curd/milk etc 5. Finish your dinner at least 2 hours before going to sleep. 6. Maintain active life style7. Avoid fast foods, spicy n fried foods, carbonated beverages 8. Take a lot of green vegetables n fruit. 9. Ultrasonic Lipolysis - How Does It Help In Overcoming Obesity & Diabetes?

Is there anybody who is happy with their body? Definitely not! Almost everyone wants weight loss. While some want to reduce their overall weight, others are concerned about their thighs, arms, buttocks, and/or belly and get fat loss in these areas. The last couple of decades have seen a drastic change in the lifestyle of people. With more processed and refined items finding their way into each of our meals and physical activity drastically declining, the new epidemic is obesity. No germs causing it, but our foods.

Extensive research is being done to identify newer methods to manage obesity. The complicating issue is also that once lost, the chance of fat re-accumulation always exists. One such new technique is the ultrasonic lipolysis. This technique involves the use of ultrasound waves to kill the fat cells (lipo - fat, lysis - kill). This is a noninvasive method wherein localized fat deposits are reduced, thereby helping in fat loss especially in areas like the abdomen, hips, thighs, upper arm, and buttocks and resulting in further weight loss. This is an advanced technique available to patients who want to achieve weight loss and body contouring too.

How it Works?

The fat that is consumed through foods is digested but then accumulates under the skin. The accumulated fat is seen as fat globules or bubbles. These bubbles are difficult to break, but attract
more fat bubble formation and therefore fat accumulation continues over a period of time. After a detailed case history and examination, a customized programme is drawn that could be of 3 to 5 sessions spread over a period of one to two weeks.

During each session, heat waves of different wavelengths are applied to the area of fat deposition through fiber-optic lasers which start the process of fat loss. The sound energy gets converted into
mechanical energy which helps in bursting of the fat molecules. By a process known as emulsification, the larger fat cells are broken into smaller ones, almost to a liquid form, thereby reducing fat deposits.

Earlier, liposuction was used, which would remove the fat leaving sagging skin behind. There is no sagging of the skin in these patients and as an added advantage, there is also skin firming indirectly when Lipolysis is done.

Studies have shown that obesity is linked to increased morbidity with higher incidence of cardiovascular diseasestroke, and paralysis. It is therefore, extremely essential that both women and men do all that is possible for weight loss and fight obesity.

Obesity is a serious health issue that has gripped the entire world. A huge chunk of the population is overweight. Usually, factors such as unhealthy eating habits and inactive lifestyles are behind the increasing rates of obesity. However, there is yet another reason behind obesity, which is often overlooked – the use of digital devices.

Will using digital devices make you fat?

Several studies have found that people who are addicted to digital devices like Smartphone, PlayStation tend to be more overweight than those who use these devices more moderately. It is strange that a Smartphone can make you obese because people usually download fitness and dietary apps on their phones in a bid to stay healthy. Here are a few basic reasons why your smart device may make you gain weight –

• People who use these devices for longer than five hours a day usually lead to sedentary lifestyles. Addiction to their devices makes them disinclined to live an active lifestyle. You will find them seated comfortably on their couches or reclining in beds, bingeing on a web series or determinedly playing a game online.

• Smartphone addiction also means people will want to spend considerable hours checking out updates or posting on social media platforms. They re-engineer your brain to crave for more by suppressing the inhibitors present in your brain that prevent you from overeating.

• Smartphone has made food easily available. Even if the thought of rustling up a snack used to put you off eating, that deterrent has been eliminated. People download food-delivery apps on their phones and order food online, which will be brought to them in minutes.

• It destroys your sleep routine. A good night’s sleep is essential in myriad different ways. Quality sleep keeps you healthy, both physically and psychologically. Sleep deprivation can mess up your metabolism and that is the surest way to gain weight. Moreover, poor quality sleep for a sustained period can induce anxiety and stress. This mental state releases lots of cortisol – a hormone that can whet your hunger and make you binge-eat.

Digital devices are part of our lives and they are indeed beneficial in numerous ways. But it is important to learn to wield them in moderation for the sake of your own health.
