It will cause dryness and a dry mucosa in the nose can compromise immunity. Recurrent post nasal drip has to be addressed by finding out the cause. Taking montair lc for post nasal drip is like taking crocin for fever. Both do not address the cause.

Don't remove them. Take saline nasal drops 3-4 times a day. Also apply ointment like neosporin in the nostrils. Maintain your hydration.
