Hi lybrate-user .high homocysteine level in blood will increases the risk for cardiovascular disease and stroke. Causes may be genitcs, high intake of animal protein, less intake of vit b ,green vegetables, fruits.stress and high coffee intake will also increases the level so try to avoid. Normal blood sugar levels are - fasting 70 to 110 mg per 100 ml of blood, after food (2 h after) <140mg per100 ml. In normal persons inspite of heavy meal or with extra sweets too blood sugardoes not go above the limit because of presence of insulin in adequate quantity.
