I have seen the details mentioned. The uric acid level given is quite high. It needs to be brought closer 6 mg or lower /100 ml. Therefore, he may have to take febustat for quite a long time which could be 6 months plus. It is essential to check the uric acid level at least once in 3 months and based on that one can decide on continuation of the tablets.
