I am 68 years old and was admitted in the hospital for 4 days for urinary track infection, Early Sepsis HTN Post TURP Thrombocytopenia. My platelets came down to 84000. Then by taking Medicines Inj. Geret 1gm once a day for 7 days and good food and rest the platelets improved to 132000. Last month it came down to 112000 and yesterday test shows 840000. What I should take to improve my platelets.

a normal platelet count in a healthy person ranges from 150, 000 to 450, 000 platelets per microlitre of blood. When the count is below 150, 000 per microlitre, it is considered a low platelet count.
