This will depend on which vision you need for your occupation, i.e.;
- if you require excellent distant vision then multi-focal iol are not a good choice
- cost: whereas mono focal are covered by insurance, multi-focal require additional premium.
* best is to have: mono vision treatment, which involves the use of two mono focal lenses with different focusing distances; one eye is selected for near vision and the other for distance.

Floaters appear in your field of vision as small shapes, while flashes can look like lightening or camera flashes. Floaters are very common and typically don't require treatment.
