I have seen the details mentioned. When one is on adequate dosage of levothyroxine, tsh is usually maintained around 3 to 4 mu/l at which level most of the symptoms of hypothyroidism are in check. Since your tsh was high, dosage was increased. Now as the tsh has come down to lower limit of normal, it is necessary to reduce levothyroxine by 12.5 mcg.
