Hi lybrate-user, hope you are doing well, glucose 6 phospate is an enzyme which prevents oxidative stress in the body deficiency of which causes the rbcs to hemolyse which inturn causes direct billirubin to go high. Chronic high lft may be due to hemolysis. Management includes to avoid foods which cause oxidative stress like red wine, all legumes, blueberries, soya products and certain drugs like sulfa drugs, quinolones, quinine. If it is stil persisting you can consult a hematologist.

Gallstones may form if bile contains too much cholesterol, too much bilirubin, or not enough bile salts. Researchers do not fully understand why these changes in bile occur. Gallstones also may form if the gallbladder does not empty completely or often enough.

Hi sir. It's only slightly increased so you don't need medicine. And it looks more because of vitamin deficiency than liver disease.

I am sorry to hear about your concern but will be happy to assist you
normal bilirubin levels are generally less than 1 milligram per deciliter (mg/dl). Adults with jaundice generally have bilirubin levels greater than 2.5 mg/dl. In an otherwise healthy newborn, bilirubin levels greater than 15 mg/dl may cause problems.
Let's connect over a call so that we can discuss your concern in details and make a suitable treatment plan for you.

Hello sir, got your concern. Electrical cardioversion is given to someone to bring their heart back to beating, that is bring them back to life. It does little affect on the heart but that’s given to bring it back to beating once again like before. It’s natural to feel weak after this so it’s better if you look after his diet which should be healthy with multivitamins and calcium supplements. For any further query consult me on the Lybrate app by using the doctor code as0545.

I am sorry to hear about your concern but will be happy to assist you.
Bile moves through thin tubes (called bile ducts) to get to your digestive tract and then out of your body as waste. But if you have too much bilirubin in your blood or if your liver can't get rid of it fast enough, it builds up in your body and can turn your eyes yellow. That's jaundice.
