Hello. Nazophen decongestant nasal drop should be used for short periods only, to avoid damage to delicate nasal mucosa. What is the cause suggested by your treating ent physician for nasal obstruction. If it is dust allergy then intra nasal steroid sprays, oral anti allergics and nasal saline solution to prevent dryness of the nose may be given. Regards.

if you are using ac then please avoid it, nose is blocked so you can use any nasal spary like nasal aid or otrivin. Use syrup wheezal mixture thrice daily.

Otrivin (or other topical nasal decongestant) is not a very good medicine. I know it gives immediate relief but on long term use it has side effect (rhinitis medicamentosa) leading to persistent nasal obstruction for which it is used.

You have a nasal block and need to use nasal drop like Oxymist or Xylomist and may need antihistamine tablets.

Cold and blocked nose is a sign of nasal & sinus allergy. Repeated nasal allergy inflammation leads to hypertrophy of nasal skin inside and hence blockage. I can help. First do an xray paranasal sinus and send the report.
