Prop yourself up. At night, lie on a couple of pillows. Keeping your head elevated may make breathing more comfortable.

- Do steam inhalation twice a day
- instill normal saline drops ,2 drops three times a day in both nostrils
- have more of warm fluids, tea, coffee, milk, soup, avoid all cold fluids & refrigerated foods
- take tablet Cheston cold ,1 tablet three times a day after meals
- avoid smoke, dust & pollutants
- have plenty of oral fluids to keep well hydrated.
