If the nail is infected, you will need appropriate ointments and/or oral tablets to get rid of the infection. It will depend on whether it is a bacterial or a fungal infection. If the infection progresses too far and damages the nailbed completely, further development of the nail will be a problem. So you can can have online consult as early as possible so that you can stop the infection before it progresses any further.

If your toenail turns black, it's most likely a bruise under the nail, technically called a subungual hematoma. You can get it from stubbing a toe or from footwear that cram your feet into the front of the shoe.

Either the entire nail (avulsion) or part of the nail (debridement) can be removed. This procedure is almost always painless. Your doctor will first place cloth adhesive tape on the normal skin around the infected nail. A urea ointment is then put directly on the nail surface and covered with plastic and tape.

Toenail fungus, also called onychomycosis, is a common fungal infection of your toenail. The most noticeable symptom is a white, brown, or yellow discoloration of one or more of your toenails. It may spread and cause the nails to thicken or crack.
