Dear lybrateuser,
- Do not wear tight shoes as the pressure on on the nails leads to diminished blood supply causing the nail to become dead
- do not try to remove the dead nail yourself, consult a close by doctor if nail doesn' t fall of by its own
- avoid alcohol & smoke if you do
- do regular exercise with proper fit shoes for healthy nails as it improves the blood supply
- for pain take a pain relief tablet after meals.

We grow up thinking of our nails as dead cells and pay attention to them only to trim them once a week. If you re a woman, this might extend to painting them in different hues. However, the shape, texture and natural colour of your nails along with the rate at which they grow says a lot about your overall health.

Homeopathy is an effective way of treating nail disorders as it addresses the root cause of the problem. This form of treatment has negligible side effects and hence, can be us...more

Most likely, your nails are infected with fungus and need consistent prolonged treatment with oral and local antifungal medicines, for about 12 to 18 weeks. You ask for private consultation on Lybrate regarding this problem and get the necessary prescription.

You can get over this disorder if you combine therapy with medication. Medication alone will not resolve this condition. In counseling, you will learn skills, tools, and techniques to cope with the rituals and especially to deal with the fear. Please take your parents with you to meet the counselor to determine the possible developmental issues that may have contributed to this condition. Your mom's death was only a trigger. It's important to discuss any concerns about medication, especially when it involves managing a condition like ocd (obsessive-compulsive disorder). Here's some general information about the medicines you mentioned:
fluvoxin (fluvoxamine): this is a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (ssri) commonly used to treat ocd. Ssris are often the first line of treatment for this condition.
Restyl (alprazolam): this is a benzodiazepine, a type of medication typically used for anxiety or panic d...more

Hi,
it is all due to exacerbation of your ocd symptoms. It's in your best interest if you consult a psychiatrist in-person and initiate treatment which will help you a lot and you will probably see the difference in 2-4 weeks. If you are already taking treatment then you need to discuss with your psychiatrist to further optimise the treatment regime to make it more effective.
Regards.

I exercised in mma club but in these days I can't exercise because I become so tired and have breathing problems and also belching I want to belch to breath easily but it is so hard .specially after eating something breathing be so hard and I feel so bad. Second question .is it just because of anxiety or I must add stomach medicine. I have got hpylory, thyroid, and kidney and blood test all of them was ok. Asalamualykum lybrate-user,
see, the point is that the medicine you take for ocd only works on calming the symptoms. We call them nuerosuppresents. What they do is they basically calm you down until another dose is required. They never help you solve the underlying problem. The thing is that only therapy can do that. There are a lot of underlying thoughts or even trauma that needs to be resolved that will itself resolve the issue. If you need any help kindly do not hesitate to message me.more
